Everything you need to know about signing up for tournaments, waitlists, payment, and refunds.

Registration Types
Each tournament uses one of three registration types. The registration type determines how you sign up and how teams are formed.
Solo Sign-up
Register as an individual. The director forms teams after check-in, typically by drafting players to create balanced rosters. This is the most common registration type for casual and competitive tournaments.
Pair Sign-up
Register with a partner. You and your partner are guaranteed to be on the same team. The director combines pairs into full teams before the tournament begins.
Team Sign-up
Register as a complete team. Your whole team is pre-formed before the tournament, so no drafting or pairing is needed.
The registration type is shown on each tournament's detail page and on tournament cards when browsing.
How to Register
Registering for a tournament takes just a few steps.
- 1.Browse upcoming tournaments from the tournaments page.
- 2.Click on a tournament to view its details, including format, date, location, and registration type.
- 3.Click the Register Now button.
- 4.Confirm your information. For pair or team sign-ups, you'll also add your partner or teammates.
- 5.If the tournament requires online payment, complete the payment to confirm your registration.
You need a complete player profile before you can register for a tournament. Make sure your name, skill level, and contact information are filled out.
Waitlists
When a tournament reaches its maximum player capacity, new registrations are placed on the waitlist instead of being turned away.
- 1.If the tournament is full and has waitlisting enabled, you can still register and you'll be added to the waitlist in the order you signed up.
- 2.If a registered player drops out, the next player on the waitlist is automatically promoted to a confirmed registration.
- 3.You'll receive a notification when you're promoted from the waitlist.
The tournament detail page shows "Waitlist available if full" when the director has enabled waitlisting for that tournament.
Payment Options
Tournaments can use one of four fee types. The fee type is displayed on the tournament detail page.
Free
No payment required. Your registration is confirmed immediately.
Pay at Door
The price is listed on the tournament page, but you pay in person at check-in. Your registration is confirmed when you sign up, and you settle the fee when you arrive.
Online (Stripe)
Pay securely online during registration. You'll be redirected to Stripe checkout to complete your payment. Your registration is confirmed after payment is processed successfully.
Prepaid
The tournament is pre-arranged and paid for separately (for example, a corporate event or private league). Contact the tournament director for details on how to register.
Refund Policy
Each tournament can set its own refund policy, which is displayed on the tournament detail page. There is no platform-wide refund policy; it is up to each tournament director.
Online payments
If you paid online via Stripe, contact the tournament director to request a refund. The director can issue refunds through the platform.
Pay at Door
Since you haven't paid yet, no refund is needed. Simply cancel your registration before the tournament.
